On 7 October 2026, OpenAI had a major outage from 05:32 to 11:54, lasting 6 h 22 min, in which users could not create new ChatGPT Work threads in the latest version of the desktop app. GitHub had two critical outages affecting Git Operations, Pull Requests and Actions, from 15:44 to 16:25 and from 17:18 to 18:06. Claude had a major outage with elevated errors on platform.claude.com that began at 13:26 and was still going on, after an earlier incident from 01:23 to 02:34, while Lovable had errors sending messages from 14:10 to 16:00.
