“Elevated errors loading usage data on platform.claude.com”
On 7 October, Claude had a major outage affecting the Claude Console (platform.claude.com), where loading usage data on the Usage page and through the Admin API usage report endpoint returned errors; the incident was open on the status page from 01:20 to 02:33 UTC, about 1 hour 11 minutes. The status page's final update gave a different impact window, saying many of these requests failed from 00:00 to 01:40 UTC, which began before the incident was posted. It also said Messages API requests were not affected, and OpenAI, Aircall, VRChat and freee reported minor issues during the same period.
