“Build failures and 500 errors for functions using Edge runtime”
On 28 September, Vercel reported a major outage affecting builds, with failed builds and 500 errors from functions using the Edge runtime. The incident was open from 13:44 to 14:11 UTC, about 27 minutes, but the status page's update said the affected builds and deployments were those made between 13:01 and 13:11 UTC, by a small number of customers. Squarespace, Blackbaud and ElevenLabs also reported problems at around the same time.
