On 1 October, Jira Service Management had a major outage affecting job processing and scheduling, including email-to-ticket processing, SLA display and notifications. The incident was open from 02:57 to 07:52 UTC (4 h 55 min), though the status page's updates said impact began earlier, at 01:00, and cleared by 07:25. The status page said an unexpected volume of scheduled tasks overwhelmed a shared scheduling platform, and it noted that interactive product use was not affected. Confluence, Bitbucket, Jira Software, Atlassian Support, Aircall, Wix and Stripe also had problems at the same time.
