“Newly uploaded videos may not play in embeds due to incorrect privacy settings”
On 24 October, Vimeo had a major outage of its Embedded Player from 15:38 to 16:51 UTC (1 h 13 min), during which newly uploaded videos might not play in embeds; the status page attributed this to incorrect privacy settings. The status page marked the issue resolved at 16:49 UTC, saying new uploads were no longer affected but that work was continuing to restore settings on videos already affected. Musixmatch and BigCommerce also reported minor problems at the same time.
