# ElevenLabs outage on 29 September 2026

> On 29 September, ElevenLabs had a major outage from 18:49 to 20:23 UTC (1 h 34 min), with increased latency, conversation failures and failed speech-to-text requests affecting Agents and STT. At 19:39 the status page added that Sound Effects and other Creative Platform products might also be affected, though the scope was unclear. The status page reported a fix applied by 20:12, said no further errors were seen at 20:23, and did not state a cause, saying a root-cause report would follow.
