# Discord outage on 30 October 2026

> On 30 October, Discord had a major outage in which users had problems establishing voice calls, lasting about 55 minutes from 15:24 to 16:19 UTC. Discord's status page said the issue was identified and a fix implemented by 15:43, and the incident was marked resolved at 16:18. GitHub, OpenAI and Canvas by Instructure, among other services, also reported minor problems at the same time.
