# Canva outage on 8 October 2026

> On 8 October, Canva had a major outage from 16:43 to 17:29 UTC (46 minutes), during which some users had trouble creating designs from templates on the home page. Canva's status page opened the incident at 16:42 and marked it resolved at 17:20, nine minutes before the outage ended, saying a fix had landed. GitLab, ElevenLabs and Blackboard also reported major outages at the same time.
